Brayden Chambers, a senior on Lamar High School’s baseball team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for May 2019.

Brayden Chambers, a senior on Lamar High School’s baseball team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for May 2019.

Chambers was named First Team All-District his senior year, helping lead the Vikings to the playoffs.

“The amount of hard work he’s put in his whole career here for four years is going to pay off for him,” said Paul Kino, Head Baseball Coach at Lamar High School. “Whether he continues to play college baseball, if he makes that choice, or if he just goes to college he’s going to be a success in life.”

Chambers' favorite subject is Reading, but he plans to study Information Technology at the next level, with a focus on cyber security.
