Arlington Water Utilities has added two more local charities to administer the Care and Share Fund, which uses donations from the public to provide aid with water bills for customers who are facing temporary financial problems and crises.

In June, the Arlington City Council approved agreements with Mission Metroplex Inc. and Arlington Urban Ministries with the goal of expanding access to the aid. Those agencies, as well as Catholic Charities of Fort Worth, are now responsible for administering the Care and Share Fund. To find out if you meet income guidelines and other requirements for assistance, contact one of the following agencies.

Catholic Charities of Fort Worth - call 817-534-0814 or visit www.catholiccharitiesfortworth.org.

Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex - call 817-277-6620 or visit their emergency assistance website at www.missionarlington.org/emergency-assistance/.

Arlington Urban Ministries - visit their website at www.arlingtonurbanministries.org.

Arlington has also received state and federal funding to help residents whose income has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit the Arlington Housing Authority website for more details.

Want to help? You can make a donation to the Care and Share program when you pay your bill online at www.ArlingtonTX.gov/KnowYourH2O or print the Charitable Contribution Form (pdf), fill it out, and return it with your next regular payment.
