The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Field on Monday, May 17, 2021, to begin a seven-game homestand.

The Rangers will open the homestand with a four-game series against the New York Yankees. Games will be played on Monday, May 17 at 7:05 p.m., Tuesday, May 18 at 7:05 p.m., Wednesday, May 19 at 7:05 p.m., and Thursday, May 20 at 1:05 p.m.

The Yankees are returning to Arlington for the first time since September 2019, when they faced the Rangers in the final three games ever played at Globe Life Park. The Rangers took the series 2-1.

For the remainder of the homestand, the Rangers will face the Houston Astros in the 2021 Lone Star Series. The Rangers lead the all-time series 120–95 and are looking to reclaim the Silver Boot from the in-state rival Astros.

The Rangers will play the Astros on Friday, May 21 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, May 22 at 3:05 p.m., and Sunday, May 23 at 1:35 p.m.

This Saturday, May 15, Chuck Morgan will be honored in his hometown of Marion, Illinois, at the Youth Baseball Association Opening Day. The City and Parks Department of Marion will dedicate the PA booth at Ray Fosse Park in his honor. Chuck announced his first-ever baseball game from that very same booth at just 14 years old.

Tickets for the Yankees and Astros series, and all 2021 home games can be purchased at texasrangers.com, by calling 972.RANGERS, and at the Globe Life Field box office located at the Southeast entrance of the park. For all home games, the Rangers are making certain locations of Globe Life Field “Distanced Seating” sections, with tickets sold in pods of two and four seats to allow for more space between occupied seats.
