Arlington Recognizes 'Turn Around, Don't Drown' Art Contest Winners

The City of Arlington’s Public Works and Transportation Department’s Stormwater Management Division would like to congratulate the 2019 “Turn Around, Don’t Drown” 3rd grade art contest winners.

This year, 135 students used their imagination and creative skills to educate the public about the dangers of floodwaters.  City staff would like to thank all our contest participants for assisting in the City’s flood safety and awareness community outreach efforts.

2nd place: Hadlee Reese – Arlington Classics Academy
3rd place: Addison Herrera – Adams Elementary School
4th place: Emily Torres   - Adams Elementary School
