Arlington Park Playgrounds Now Open, Splash Pads to Open May 30, 2020

Park playgrounds are now open

Arlington park playgrounds are now open to the public.

Parks & Recreation reopened all playgrounds and public restrooms Thursday, May 28, 2020, in accordance with Gov. Greg Abbott’s plan to reopen Texas. Additionally, Arlington’s three public splash pads will open Saturday, May 30, 2020 and will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Labor Day.

Splash pads are located at:

  • Don Misenhimer Park, 201 E Lonesome Dove Trail, 76002
  • Brantley Hinshaw Park, 2121 Overbrook Drive, 76014
  • California Lane Park, 2001 California Lane, 76015

Please note, Arlington park visitors are encouraged to follow recommendations designed to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This includes practicing appropriate social distancing, washing your hands or using hand sanitizer after coming in contact with high-touch surfaces, such as playground equipment, and staying home if you are sick or a member of your family is ill.
