Phil Whitfield, a former security guard for the Dallas Cowboys, is now living his American Dream as the art ambassador at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Whitfield was named the art ambassador for AT&T Stadium in 2009. When creating the iconic venue, the Jones family wanted to create more than a home for the Dallas Cowboys; their dream was to create a place that would appeal not only to fans of sports and entertainment, but also those of architecture, art, design, engineering and technology.

Through public art tours, Whitfield is able to connect with an international audience that travels to see a collection of world-class murals, pictures and sculptures by nationally and internationally recognized artists.

AT&T Stadium's art tour in The American Dream City is a creative and educational opportunity for all ages. Throughout the tour, guests will explore many different areas of the stadium, including the Main Concourse and club locations to see these art pieces.

"I found out each artist has one thing in common," Whitfield said. "It's passion. Do what you love to do and you're never work a day in your life."

Guided art tours are available Monday through Thursday at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets at www.attstadium.com.
