Cat of the Week – Meet Rachel

This two-year, one month old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown, black and white Tabby. With the Olympic games in full swing, it's your golden opportunity to adopt a new furry companion. Rachel came to the shelter with her fur babies. They have all grown up so now she's an "empty nester" ready for her next adventure of finding a new furever home. She is a thoughtful feline when it comes to playtime waiting for the best time to pounce on that pesky string toy. Fun loving and full of "purr"sonality, Rachel loves to be on the receiving end of affection. She responds by getting her "purr" motor going. Old friends are considered gold and new ones--silver. Are you ready to go for the silver and make a new furry friend by adopting Rachel? Meet Rachel in Cat Adoptions (CA) 1, her ID number is A48109088. Adoption fees are $10 through August 8th.

Dog of the Week – Meet Tarzan

This four-year-old male Shepherd Retriever mix is brown and black in color and weighs 68 pounds. AH-UH-UHAA.....oh, well, can't duplicate the distinctive Tarzan yell here. Don't think the shelter Tarzan can either. But he can "go for the Gold" in his search for a new furever home. It's a good time to celebrate the Olympics by adopting a canine companion to share the couch or recliner with you to watch the games. Tarzan is easygoing when it comes to leash walking and is curious about passersby and goings on around him. He's laid back and appreciates any and all attention paid to him. An active family that can create exercise opportunities for Tarzan would be a benefit. Award the gold medal to Tarzan by adopting him today. Meet Tarzan in Dog Adoptions (DA) 14, his ID number is A48181193. Adoption fees are $10 through August 8th.
