Cat of the Week – Meet Pepper

This nearly five year old female Domestic Shorthair is a black and red Tortoiseshell. While not fond of being held, Pepper does like being petted and responds with a hearty purr. Head bumping is also part of her repertoire. Often when you say her name, Pepper will respond with a quiet, short “meow”. Pepper was recently owner surrendered to the shelter due to her pet guardian moving. Her previous owner indicated she is friendly with both children and adults. She does seem to be apprehensive of strange noises so a home with a somewhat quiet atmosphere would probably work best for her. Adopting Pepper would be a good way to “spice up your life”. Meet Pepper in Cat Adoptions (CA) 15, her ID number is 25005662.

Dog of the Week – Meet Molly

This one and half year old female American Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and tan in color and weighs 38 pounds. Molly is an amiable dog that is looking for her new “furever” home. Our volunteers are quite fond of her and describe her as super sweet. She is rather timid so a family willing to help draw her out of her shell would be ideal. She would probably do best with older children. While Molly walks really well on a leash, she would probably benefit from some structured training classes. Meet Molly in Dog Adoptions (DA) 1, her ID number is 41141693. Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
