Dog of the Week – Meet Fudge

This eight and half year old male Labrador Retriever mix is solid black in color and weighs 107 pounds. Fudge is an appropriate name for this sweet senior dog. This gentle giant is one of the most gentle and sweet dogs we’ve seen. While he’s not keen on playtime, he really, really likes belly rubs. This lovable guy does know the commands of sit and stay and he walks well on a leash. Fudge is looking for a new “furever” home to quietly live out his golden years. Are you the one that make his wish come true? Meet Fudge in Dog Adoptions (DA) 21, his ID number is 20974812.

Cat of the Week – Meet Geo

This nine month old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown and tan Tabby. A young cat with a propensity to play is featured this week as pet of the week. Geo really likes stalking prey in the form of a toy or feather. Once she calms down she will allow you to pet her and she will even respond with a quiet purr. While she is not terribly fond of being held, she will deem it “OK” for a little while. Geo would probably do best in a household with older children and adults where she retain her cat “independence”. There’s one more week of half price cat adoptions in honor of Adopt-a-Shelter cat month. Meet Geo in Cat Adoptions (CA) 9, her ID number is 41761599.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
