Cat of the Week – Meet Julian

This two year old male Domestic Shorthair is a red and white Tabby. While considered to be “odd-eyed” because he has one blue eye and one yellow eye, Julian is not an odd cat. He is, however, a somewhat timid cat. He can be coaxed into being held and petted which will elicit purring and kneading. While he doesn’t show much interest in playtime, he probably would ease into playing once established in a new “purr-ever” home. Julian would probably do best in a quiet home. Add a date on your calendar to come meet and adopt Julian. Find Julian in Cat Adoptions (CA) 21; his ID number is 41176969.

Dog of the Week – Meet Benji

This five year old male Retriever mix is black and white in color and weighs 54 pounds. This dog, whose namesake appeared in films, differs from the small, brown dog in size and color. However, the original Benji was also a shelter dog. Our Benji is active and likes to play with toys. He walks well on a leash and knows the commands of sit and shake. Observed to be a jumper, he would do best in a new home with a tall, secure fence. He likes to scout out his surroundings and upon completion of his survey, he’s ready for attention. Come adopt Benji and make him a “star” in his own right. Meet Benji in Dog Adoptions (DA) 3, his ID number is 41194200. Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
