Dog of the Week – Meet Dan

This five and half month old male Plott Hound is a black and brown brindle and weighs 37 pounds. Need a furry companion to help energize your workout routine? How about adopting Dan? He’s in need of an active pet guardian to help channel his energies. He is partial to playing fetch and loves to run. A family that will emphasize physical activity would probably be best for Dan. He walks well on a leash but probably needs other structured training. He also enjoys being on the receiving end of attention (once he slows down). Dan is waiting for you to come adopt him. Meet Dan in Dog Adoptions (DA) 27, his ID number is 41827732.

Cat of the Week – Meet Purrty

This one and half year old female Maine Coon mix is brown, black and white in color. Purrty was recently owner surrendered to the shelter due to her pet guardian being allergic to her. She is a very laid back cat that does appreciate being petted and has a very quiet purr. Sudden moves and unknown noises are not on Purrty’s favorite things list. Her favorite things would include a loving pet guardian and a quiet atmosphere. She would probably do best in a home with all adults where she can just “chill”. Come pick Purrty to be your new furry companion. Half price cat adoptions continue during the month of June for Adopt a Shelter Cat month. Meet Purrty in Cat Adoptions (CA) 21, her ID number is 41892612.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
