Cat of the Week – Meet Spartacus

This two and half year old male Domestic Shorthair is white and red in color. While this cat might exclaim, “I am Spartacus”, he is not the warrior type. His loud purr is evident when he’s on the receiving end of being petted. While he’s not much of a lap cat, he will allow you to hold him. His interest in playtime is piqued when presented with a feather. Come adopt Spartacus and fulfill his expectation of a new “purrever” home. Meet Spartacus in Cat Adoptions (CA) 3; his ID number is 41141288.

Dog of the Week – Meet Dexter

This six month old Catahoula Leopard dog mix is white and black in color and weighs 30 pounds. Dexter is an active dog willing to show off his training. While he doesn’t walk well on a leash, he does know the commands of sit, stay, and lay down and willingly complies. At the shelter, he was eager to show his “Dexter-ity” at completing the dog agility course. Playing fetch and returning the toy to you was also a successful endeavor. Dexter would probably do best with a family that will engage him in playtime and provide love and affection. Pity the fool who passes on this lovable dog. Meet dexterous Dexter in Dog Adoptions (DA) 6; his ID number is 41143308. Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
