Dog* of the Week – Meet Shelton

Meet Shelton. Shelton is our chosen "stand-in" for cat* of the week. This four year old male American Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and blue in color and weighs 50 pounds. As of this posting all available cats have been adopted but that can change quickly. Because of this, Shelton is willing to put on his "cat hat" even though he is not prone to purring. He is friendly around people and likes to be petted. Earlier in his stay at the shelter, he preferred to be independent from other dogs but now he seems to be playful around them. Because Shelton has been diagnosed as heartworm positive, he needs an adopter that will follow through with needed heartworm treatment. Information about lower cost heartworm treatment can be provided at time of adoption. Shelton is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 1, with ID number 44072527. Currently, pet adoptions are being handled by appointment only. Call 817-575-8128 to schedule a time to meet, and provide Shelton’s ID number.

Dog of the Week – Meet Kleo

This thirteen month old female American Pit Bull Terrier mix is black and white in color and weighs 43 pounds. If you are in need of a happy go lucky furry companion--look no further than Kleo! This high energy puppy always has a smile on her face. She knows the command of "sit" especially when encouraged with a treat. She loves treats. Her tail wagging is nonstop. Kleo is heartworm positive and is looking for a new pet guardian to follow up with getting her treated. Her heartworm treatment is sponsored and information will be provided at time of adoption. So, order in a bunch of "doggie" treats and come adopt Kleo today. Kleo is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 9, with ID number 43959799. Currently, pet adoptions are being handled by appointment only. Call 817-575-8128 and provide Kleo’s ID number to meet in person.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
