Dog of the Week – Meet Ladybug

This 17-month-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and red in color and weighs 50 pounds. Ladybug, ladybug, fly away home—that’s what this canine would like to be able to do—“fly away” to a new home. Having been in the shelter for over 39 days, she’s more than ready to be adopted She does well in the kennel, on leash and loves to bob and weave when outside free of restraint. She also likes to check to be sure you’re watching her and will look at you with such love. Being the center of attention is high on her list as she loves “posing” waiting for you to acknowledge her. A loving family looking for a sweetheart of a dog need look no further. With a reduced adoption fee due to being a VIP pet, don’t delay adopting Ladybug as your next “furrever” friend. Meet Ladybug at Dog Condo (DC) 1, here ID number is A46662192.

Second Dog of the Week – Meet Rookie

This two-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is tan and white in color and weighs 68 pounds. This is another VIP selection due to length of time in the shelter at over 37 days. A canine that is no rookie at taking the time to explore his surroundings, Rookie loves to run and explore and then will return for rewards in the form of pets or treats, but mainly treats. While he has a high energy level, given some time to run around and burn off that energy, he loves to sit for some good “pets” and loves the attention. Rookie would probably do best with an active family willing to channel his energies into productive exercise time. Adopting Rookie would make him a pro at being your best furry friend. Meet Rookie at Dog Adoptions (DA) 21, his ID number is A50071218.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
