Dog of the Week – Meet Matthew

This seven and a half month old male Labrador Retriever mix is black and white in color and weighs 46 pounds. What can we say about this young dog Matthew? High energy…high energy…high energy! He really enjoys playing with toys and running at full tilt. He has a unique way of doing a little “hop” before streaking across the yard. This youngster seems to respond to the command of “sit” but would probably benefit from some structured training. A large yard and an active family providing lots of exercise opportunities would probably be best for Matthew. Start your summer out with a new exercise companion. Cat of the Week – Meet Johnny

This two year old male Domestic Shorthair is a black and tan tabby. H-e-e-e-re’s Johnny! This cat is in need of a new pet guardian who has a lot of patience to win him over. He tends to be wary of new surroundings but will grant you the privilege of petting him. Sometimes you can hear his tiny purr and see him making “biscuits” while he walks. He seems to prefer the quiet life and few distractions. If you’re the patient kind needing a new fur baby then Johnny might be the one for you.
