Dog of the Week - Meet Grizzly
Grizzly is our chosen dog of the week. This two year old male pit bull terrier mix is fawn and white in color and weighs 69 pounds. Not only is Grizzly being featured as a pet of the week but he was also featured as the APD (Arlington Police Dept) selection last week. We are really eager for him to find a new "furever" home. He hasn't been able to exhibit his true personality in the kennel. When he's out and about with "hoomans" or in a meet and greet he's really just a cuddle bug. Grizzly is a "watcher"--he loves to hang out and look out windows and doors or anywhere else he has a perch. Isn't there a family out there needing a new furry "kid" to add to their brood? Grizzly has tested positive for heartworms and thankfully his heartworm treatment is being sponsored. With a VIP designation, Grizzly can be adopted at a reduced adoption fee. Second Dog of the Week – Meet Beaumont
Beaumont is our second chosen dog of the week. This five year old female pit bull terrier mix is white and blue/black in color and weighs 50 pounds. Unlike the other pet of the week selection this canine has personality to spare. The facial expressions, the walk, the sit, the "everything"--Beaumont is entertainment all wrapped up in a compact canine. She could be named Boomerang Beaumont as she will be here, then there, and then back to here again. Fun loving and only shows "downtime" after expending pent up energies. People or even other dogs are her favorite things as long as they are interested in her. With a VIP designation, Beaumont can be adopted at a reduced adoption fee.
