This eight-year-old male Domestic Shorthair is a red Tabby. Goldie, like many felines, is somewhat reserved. He was owner surrendered recently and is looking for a new pet guardian to be the "purr-fect" match. He can be shy at first but then he turns on the charm with his friendliness. Being on the receiving end of affection, like stroking his cheek, is to his liking. His previous owner stated that he was "tolerant" of cats, dogs and children. Dog of the Week - Meet Ella Mai

This four-year and eight-months old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and black in color and weighs 43 pounds. Yes, you might recognize Ella Mai as being one of our previous Pet of the Week selections. She was adopted and then made it back to the shelter as a stray and wasn't reclaimed. What a bummer! She's looking for an active pet guardian, perhaps a family, that would participate in physical activities with her helping "burn off" some of her boundless energy. She loves treats, walks well on a leash, and knows sit, stay, and lay down. Her gentle disposition is endearing, and she likes to be held and loved on.
