Dog of the Week – Meet Cobalt

This three-years, one-month-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and brown in color and weighs 51 pounds. What a week it has been at the shelter! Due to some crazy winter weather the shelter was closed for several days resulting in many adoptable dogs waiting for their chance for a new furrever home. Cobalt is one of our most fun loving energetic dogs ready for everything and anything that life will throw at him. BUT—he would most like for a new pet guardian to come select and adopt him. He has gained VIP status due to having entropion surgery (eye/eyelid surgery) making him eligible for a reduced adoption fee. A loving family ready to provide exercise opportunities for this active dog should come check him out. Since cobalt is considered a "cool color" --it fittingly describes this dog as a "cool canine". Meet Cobalt at Dog Adoptions (DA) 24, his ID number is A51815583.

Second Dog of the Week – Meet Clay

This one-year, one-month-old male Retriever mix is tan and white in color and weighs 41 pounds. Clay was brought in as a stray after having been found abandoned in a park. He's just a youngster waiting for his next big adventure and hoping that the next adventure is adoption by a new pet guardian. He is somewhat shy but has a friendly disposition. Playing with toys, "kongs", or tennis balls he's at the ready to be fun and entertaining. Clay has been showing stress in the shelter environment so he has achieved VIP status that comes with a reduced adoption fee. Adopt Clay and you can have the opportunity to mold him into your best furry friend. Meet Clay at Dog Adoptions (DA) 21, his ID number is A51784933.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration and microchip.
