Dog of the Week – Meet Lennon

This seven-year-old male Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix is yellow in color and weighs 62 pounds. A new month and fall is in the year! Lennon came in as a stray with another dog, Teddy, his best bud (see the other featured dog). They've done everything together in the shelter and are now in adoptions together. As an older dog, Lennon and his cohort would love a home to cuddle with a family and a yard to roam in. While maybe not as spry as a younger dog, Lennon loves to play and walks well on a leash. His bucket list includes being adopted and the chance to take leisurely walks around the neighborhood. Lennon's VIP status means he has a reduced adoption fee. Meet Lennon at Dog Adoptions (DA) 12, his ID number is A51024949.

Second Dog of the Week – Meet Teddy

This nine-year-old male Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix is white, black and brown in color and weighs 107 pounds. Our second dog of the week is a pal of Lennon. Teddy is a little older so he's really ready for some extra love and care. He also walks well on a leash and both of them respond to the command of "sit". He loves to play albeit in shorter spurts of energy. Having tested as heartworm positive, a new pet guardian will need to follow up with heartworm treatment. It would be ideal if Teddy and his pal, Lennon, could be adopted together to continue their long friendship. The more important goal is for both to be adopted whether together or separately. As a VIP pet Teddy has a reduced adoption fee. Teddy is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 12, and his ID number is A51025024.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
