Pets of the WeekDog of the Week – Meet Alvie

This 6-year-old male Catahoula Leopard mix is white and brown and weighs 63 pounds. His owner recently surrendered him to the shelter. Alvie is an active, friendly dog looking for a new pet guardian. His previous owner indicated he knows how to sit, lay down and go outside. He likes to expend energy by running but doesn’t seem to be as interested in playing fetch. Alvie would probably do best with a family that will spend time exercising him and providing lots of attention. A large fenced yard be suitable as well. Meet Alvie in Dog Adoptions (DA) 4, his ID number is 42656826.

Cats of the Week – Meet Batman & Robin

These two male, 4-and-a-half-month old, Domestic Shorthair kittens are beige Tabbies. What a cute dynamic duo. These two siblings are quite the pair. In this pairing, Robin is the more outgoing kitten while Batman is more laid back. They both like to play, with Robin taking the lead in being adventurous. It is somewhat challenging to get the duo to slow down to be held. After a good amount of exercise, it is possible to pet them. They seem to prefer playtime over attention at this young age. Once settled in a new safe and comfortable “purrever” home, they would probably be more receptive to attention. While not necessary, Batman and Robin would prefer being adopted as a superhero pair. Meet Batman & Robin in Cat Condo (CC) 1, their ID’s are 42396245 and 42396255.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
