Fall is just around the corner. And as some of your favorite traditions return, it's also time to start new ones.
Here's a to-do list you won't mind tackling.
✅ Celebrate Globe Life Park
The Rangers will close out their chapter at Globe Life Park with a final homestand, Sept. 24-29. The Red Sox and Yankees will both be in town. Next year, the action moves across the Entertainment District to the new Globe Life Field.
✅ Book It for Arlington Public Library
Lace up your running shoes and help a great cause. Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library is hosting the Book It 5K Saturday, Sept. 28 in Downtown Arlington. Registration is open through race day. There is also a one-mile fun run.
✅ Make your neighborhood wish a reality
Is there a project you'd like to see happen in your neighborhood? Lead the way with help from the City of Arlington. $150,000 is now available through the Neighborhood Matching Grant program. Click the link above to learn more and see a schedule of informational meetings.
✅ Get crafty for fall
Nothing says fall like a craft fair. And Saturday, Sept. 28, Eunice Activity Center is the place to be. The center is hosting its annual craft fair from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. You'll find one-of-a-kind items starting at just $1. Admission is free. There will also be activities for children including a bounce house and face painting.
