Texas will begin its reopening process Friday, May 1, 2020. In the latest edition of Neighborhood Network News, we look at what to expect in phase one. 

✅ Some businesses reopen — with restrictions. 

According to Governor Abbott, stores, malls, restaurants and theaters can reopen at 25 percent capacity beginning Friday, May 1. No businesses are required to open, so call or check online before heading out. 

✅ Coronavirus testing now available in Arlington

Free coronavirus testing is now available in Arlington. The testing is for adults only showing symptoms of the virus. You can book an appointment here. Testing is being conducted in a drive-thru site at The Parks Mall. 

✅ Take advantage of Arlington Public Library's curbside service

Arlington Public Library is offering curbside service at all branches. Request your items online then pick them up safely in person. Click here to learn more about the program.
