Your New To-Do List

Visit the new arlingtontx.gov

Go global at storytime

The Arlington Public Library now offers storytime sessions in eight languages. The books are geared toward preschool-aged children, but the entire family is welcome. Click here to find a list of events.

Protect your identity (and help a good cause)

The City of Arlington is hosting Shred Day, Monday, April 29. Bring anything you want shredded to 200 N. Cooper Street, and we’ll handle the rest. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It is free for residents, but you’re also asked to donate $5 to United Way, if possible.

Pose in the bluebonnets

It’s a sure sign of spring in Texas, and Arlington has some of the most beautiful bluebonnets in the state. They’re blooming now at Knapp Heritage Park, River Legacy Park, and other spots across the City. Snap a picture and make sure to tag us (@cityofarlington.)
