Hello, neighbors!

It’s that magical time of year. Baseball is back, patios are packed, and flowers are blooming across The American Dream City. We know you want to be outside every chance you get (we do too!), so we’ve included plenty of outdoor options for you in this edition of Neighborhood Network News. Now, check a few events off your list!

Give some new golf clubs a swing

April 6 | 10 AM – 2 PM | Tierra Verde Golf Club

Arlington Parks and Recreation is giving you the chance to put the newest clubs to the test, in real-world conditions. If you find a keeper, you’ll enjoy great pricing plus big discounts on other Pro Shop merchandise. The days of hitting into a net are over.

Hunt for Easter eggs

April 13 | 9 AM – 10:30 AM | Hugh Smith Recreation Center and Pool

It’s all about tradition at this year’s “Egg-Cellent Easter Party.” Your child will enjoy several Easter activities including an egg hunt. And yes, the Bunny will be there too. Just make sure to have your camera ready.

Finish the "Fowl Pole"

New this season at Globe Life Park

A 2-pound chicken tender is the newest item on the menu. It’s technically designed to feed a family of four, but don’t let that stop you from tackling this one solo.

Track your water usage in real time

Your water usage may go up as the temperature starts climbing. But you don’t have to wait until your bill arrives to keep track. With the new “Know your H2O” feature on our website, you can track your usage in real time. You can also set alerts based on dollar amounts, to make sure you stay within budget.

We have a full calendar of events available on the City’s website. We’ve also partnered with Texas Live! to help spread the word about all the good things happening in your hometown. Join our Dream Team to win great prizes, just by hitting “Share.” Thank you for your work to make Arlington: The American Dream City a better place to live, learn, work and play.
