Spring is in the air in The American Dream City. From new plants to a new baseball field, you can't miss it. We've created a to-do list you won't mind tackling.

✅ Plant a (free) tree

Arlington Parks & Recreation is giving away 1,200 trees to celebrate Arbor Day. The trees will be given away at the department administration building, located at 717 W. Main Street. The giveaway is on a first come, first served basis from Friday, March 6 until Monday, March 9.

✅ Take 10 minutes for Arlington's future

Invitations to respond to the 2020 Census will be hitting mailboxes across Arlington soon. Your response helps fund everything from police and schools to local nonprofits. You can now respond over the phone, through the mail or online. Click the link above to learn more about how an accurate count benefits your hometown.

✅ See the new Globe Life Field

The Rangers' new home is just days away from opening. Chris Stapleton kicks things off with a concert March 14. The Rangers' home opener is March 31. Single-game tickets go on sale March 6.

✅ Find the perfect plants (and save water!)

Head to the Downtown Library March 18 to learn more about the perfect Texas plants. A little landscaping change can help you save big amounts of water. The free course runs from 6:30-8 p.m.
