Inaugural Dream Fest on Saturday, April 29 at Levitt Pavilion Arlington

Join the City of Arlington and Levitt Pavilion Arlington for the inaugural Dream Fest. Celebrating all that makes Arlington the American Dream City, the celebration will be on Saturday, April 29 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion Arlington. Enjoy great food, live music from David Lee Garza, Straight Tequila Music and more performers, as well as fun activities for the whole family.

Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday April 22-24, 2023

Natural disasters will continue to happen. Prepare yourself during the 2023 Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday for emergencies that can cause physical damage like hurricanes, flash floods and wildfires. You can purchase certain emergency preparation supplies tax free from Saturday, April 22 until midnight on Monday, April 24. View a list of items included in the sales tax holiday weekend.

Arlington Police Department's Spring Drug Take Back Set for April 22, 2023

April 22 is National Drug Take Back Day. The Arlington Police Department is hosting a prescription drug collection event at three locations.

  • Walgreens: 4400 W. Green Oaks Blvd.
  • Ott Cribbs Public Safety Center: 620 W. Division St.
  • South Arlington Police Service Center: 1030 SW Green Oaks Blvd.

Residents can safely dispose of expired or unused medications between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. By properly disposing your prescriptions, you can help prevent accidental overdoses.

City's Neighborhood Block Party Trailer Available for Reservations

Trying to plan your next neighborhood gathering? The City of Arlington Block Party Trailer is filled with picnic tables, ice chests, games and other party needs for FREE for your upcoming neighborhood event. The goal of the Block Party Trailer is to increase community engagement within neighborhoods throughout The American Dream City by providing a fun way for neighbors to get together. Eligible neighborhood groups wanting to reserve the trailer must submit an application at least seven days before their scheduled event.
