Norma Castillo owner of Hispano America

When you walk in the doors at Hispano America Multiservices, you are family. Small business owner and entrepreneur, Norma Castillo, started the tax service business almost 12 years ago while balancing being a working mother. After moving the business from Fort Worth to Dallas and then to Arlington, she’s excited to own a business in this diverse community she’s called home for 14 years.

Relying mainly on word-of-mouth, Castillo’s company has grown thanks to her clients and her three core beliefs when it comes to taxes. “My passion is helping people,” said Castillo. “I have three things that are important to me for my community and my customers. Number one is my customers are like my family. I’ve known a lot of my customers from over ten years. I knew their children when they were babies and now they have grown to be teenagers.”

Hispano America Multiservices offers personal and small business tax services and money transfer services in Spanish and English. All first-time customers receive a $50 discount and they offer a $20 discount for referrals.

But Castillo’s goals and hustle doesn’t stop there. On top of raising twin girls, she plans to expand the business and is working on earning her Real Estate License. She also hopes to grow the business to do taxes for bigger organizations and businesses.

Castillo is just one of the amazing entrepreneurs that makes Arlington the vibrant, thriving community that nearly 400,000 people are proud to call home today.

To learn more about Hispano American’s tax services you can call Norma Castillo at 817-350-9742. The department is also hosting Customer Appreciation Week during the same time and will be providing refreshments and bottled water for the customers visiting the Small Business Promotion table.

The City of Arlington is highlighting minority-owned and/or women-owned small businesses throughout 2022. Canales Furniture, another Small Business of Arlington, who has grown substantially in the last few years, wants to give back to the community and is sponsoring this program with the Planning & Development Services Department for the year 2022. In their new headquarters at 102 E. I-20 Highway, they have dedicated a training room for their growing community, including free English Speaking classes, citizenship classes, and teaching small businesses on how to utilize social media as a marketing tool.
