The Texas Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists Board of Examiners selected the City of Arlington as the site of its April quarterly meeting.

This state board, which typically meets in Austin, is responsible for licensing and regulating marriage and family therapists in Texas.

"It's truly outstanding and historical for the Texas Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists Board of Examiners to be here in Arlington for its quarterly meeting," said Board Member Rich Stoglin. "We believe that by having them here, they will be able to attract more people from North Texas and witness all of the great things we have to offer in this region."

This month’s committee and board meetings, scheduled Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13, will be held at the Tarrant County College Southeast Campus in Arlington. Meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas can be downloaded from the board’s website.

Prior to the meetings, the board will hold a special reception at the state-of-the-art George W. Hawkes Downtown Library.
