Babies, young toddlers and their families are invited to an early childhood celebration at the Arlington Public Library! Join us for Baby Day, a special event focusing on the first three years of life, when early experiences shape lifelong potential. Baby Day is free and will offer activities designed just for ages zero to three from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Downtown Library.

A day to promote bonding and delight between caregivers and children, Baby Day was created to celebrate the extraordinary period of growth and development infants and toddlers experience within the first three years of life.

This year, the Arlington Public Library is partnering with First3Years, a group of early childhood clinicians working for the healthy development of young children, to promote early learning.

"Parents are a child’s first and more important teachers,” says Bethany Fort, Library Services Manager. “We’re thrilled that caregivers can learn how they can impact their child’s growth and development at Baby Day.”

Baby Day will be full of bonding and delight between caregivers and children. Activities are tailored for infants and toddlers from ages 0-3 and include infant yoga to music classes to dancing, curated art, storytime and more. Older siblings and family members are welcome to join in the fun.

Baby Day is free and no registration is required. Click here to learn more.
