Grammy-Winning Polka Group Returns to Open Levitt Fall Concert Series

Brave ComboThe Levitt Pavilion, in Downtown Arlington, kicks off its fall concert season Friday, Aug. 30 with a fan-favorite tradition.

Polka group Brave Combo will be the first to take the stage. The Grammy Award winners have launched the fall concert season since the Levitt opened in 2008. The band is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and promises to deliver a mix of salsa, meringue, rock and more.

R&B takes center stage Saturday when Rare Earth performs. The Motown artists were rained out during the summer concert series but were able to reschedule.

Opening weekend wraps up Sunday with country/rock duo Rev. Horton Heat. 

All concerts are free, family-friendly and start at 8 p.m.

Levitt Pavilion Arlington is located at 100 W. Abram St. just south of Arlington City Hall.

Audiences are seated on an open lawn and can bring lawn chairs and blankets, picnics, and coolers with beverages for the free concerts. Concessions are sold at the pavilion, including beer and wine.
