Rangers Hosting Eight-Game Homestand as Globe Life Park Countdown Continues

The Texas Rangers return to Arlington Thursday, August 15 for the start of an eight-game homestand. 

The team will face the Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Angels. Several of the games include fan-favorite promotions and giveaways. 

Here are your homestand highlights.

August 15 vs. Minnesota Twins

Hawaiian Heritage Night: Fans who purchase tickets through the Rangers' Theme Night site will receive a limited edition Isiah Kiner-Falefa dashboard bobble.  

August 16 vs. Minnesota Twins

It's Teacher Appreciation Night. The team will show its gratitude by honoring teachers before the first pitch. Fans who purchase their tickets through the Theme Night site will also receive a Very Hungry Caterpillar tote. Then, stick around for free fireworks after the game. 

August 17 vs. Minnesota Twins

The first 15,000 fans will receive a Kenny Rogers bobblehead, commemorating the pitcher's perfect game

August 18 vs. Minnesota Twins

It's $1 Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday. And calling all SMU fans and alumni, purchase your tickets through the Theme Night site for a special edition SMU/Rangers hat.

August 21 vs. Los Angeles Angels 

Bring your appetite for $1 hot dog night. Fans will also receive a Joey Gallo player cap.

Each game of the homestand will also include a countdown to the final game at Globe Life Park. 

The Rangers will move to the new Globe Life Field, in Arlington's Entertainment District, for the 2020 season.
