On Sunday, November 7, 2021, at approximately 2:40 p.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to a crash in the northbound lanes of State Hwy 360 near Abram Street involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

Investigators determined the driver of the motorcycle rear-ended a Honda CRV that had come to a stop in the center lane due to heavy traffic on the highway. The force of the impact caused the motorcycle driver, a 26-year-old male, to be thrown from his bike. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Witnesses told officers the motorcycle driver was traveling at high speeds and changing lanes aggressively just prior to the crash.

The driver of the CRV was not injured and will not face any criminal charges.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
