Esports Awards Coming to Arlington

esports awardsThe Esports Awards, now in its fourth year of delivering recognition and distinction to the biggest and best in the esports industry, are excited to announce the event will be held stateside for the very first time. Esports Stadium Arlington will host the 4th annual Esports Awards on November 16, 2019.

After three successful ceremonies in London, the awards are moving on to a new chapter. Over the past three years, the ceremony has presented 65 awards and welcomed some of the industry’s finest, including Seth ‘Scump’ Abner, Ali-A and KSI, with noted hosts Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Deporteere and Alex ‘Goldenboy’ Mendez emceeing the event.

With the move to Esports Stadium Arlington, the Esports Awards will offer general admission to fans for the first time, creating a fresh experience for both consumers and the esports industry.

Esports Stadium Arlington is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility that offers an innovative and best-in-class experience to all attendees. For the first time in Arlington, the doors will open to some of the biggest names in esports, with both finalists and industry aficionados coming together to celebrate another successful year of growth in esports. 

Along with general admission, the Esports Awards will welcome guests from the industry for a night of networking and fine dining. The awards serve as one of the only annual events that brings together representatives across the entire esports industry.

The Esports Awards will partner with the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau to deliver the 2019 awards. Arlington will become the official Destination Partner for the Esports Awards, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the best of Arlington, from AT&T Stadium to Globe Life Park and the newly-developed Texas Live! entertainment venue. Arlington will also sponsor two awards at the Esports Awards ceremony: Esports Personality of the Year and Streamer of the Year, emphasizing the City's commitment to supporting the growth of esports and putting Texas on the map as a premier esports destination.
