Dream Builders: Lamar High School's Award-Winning Robotics Team

Dream Builders is a show on MyArlingtonTV that highlights the ways our community is helping kids dream big, nurture their creativity, polish their skills and develop the tools they need to achieve their American Dream as young adults.

The latest Dream Builders episode features Lamar High School's robotics team. The team won 2nd place in the state UIL competition for 5A/6A schools. 

Robotics is a branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback and information processing. This field overlaps with electronics, computer science, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, nanotechnology and bioengineering.
