Arlington Voters Elect New District 5 City Council Representative

Arlington City Council District 5 Election

Arlington voters elected a new District 5 City Council representative during the run-off election on Saturday.

Ignacio Nunez received 58.4 percent of the vote, according to unofficial voting totals. Andy Prior, who also ran for the open seat, received 41.6 percent.

Nunez will be sworn in for a two-year term during the June 25 City Council meeting.
