How to Locate COVID-19 Testing Options in Tarrant County

Tarrant County keeps an updated list of its COVID-19 testing locations online, which at times includes locations in Arlington. Click here to see the full list of county testing locations. Testing is free. For more information, please visit or call the Tarrant County Public Health information line at 817-248-6299.

Additionally, the federal government has made COVID-19 testing kits available at no cost. Every home in the United States is eligible to order four free at-home COVID-19 test kids. Visit for more information.

Here are some of the Tarrant County Public Health locations currently offering COVID-19 tests:

Burleson Public Health Authority

  • 620 Memorial Plaza Burleson, TX 76028
  • Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Free rapid testing available by appointment only. Preferred individuals sign up for appointment on the website but can call 682-312-2780, if necessary.

  • Closed for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Additional COVID-19 Testing locations can be found using the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM)'s portal.

The TDEM website allows you to find a testing location based on the zip code that you enter.

These sites may have a fee associated with the test collection. Insurance may be taken at the time of the service. It is best to call in advance to any site that you select to ensure that it is still operating and understand any requirements they might have.

COVID-19 Vaccine Availability

Looking for a COVID-19 vaccine? The Arlington Fire Department is currently holding vaccine clinics two days a week at its Public Health Unit, located at 2920 S. Cooper St. No appointments are necessary for the vaccine clinics, which are available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.

These clinics are convenient for those who still seeking their first COVID-19 vaccine or for those who have missed their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine. Covid-19 booster doses are available as well.

Vaccines are available at this location for those who are 12 years of age and older. Please note that anyone under the age of 18 years old will need a parent or guardian on site for consent.
