City of Arlington Awarded State Best 7 First Place Awards at 2019 TAMIO Conference

The City of Arlington was honored to receive a state best 7 first-place awards. 

The City of Arlington was honored to receive a state best 7 first-place awards and 10 overall awards at the annual Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) conference in Denton on June 6, 2019.

This year follows up a strong campaign in 2018, where the Office of Communication took home 13 awards at the TAMIO conference in Georgetown.

The awards recognize outstanding communication by Texas communities in a variety of categories including website, social media, video production and publications. Judging is conducted by non-TAMIO members with expertise in communications and municipal government.

The City's Rangers Home Plate Update quarterly publication, the At the Park with Chuck social media video series, Via rideshare media relations campaign, On the Clock video series, FY2019 Budget in Action campaign, the City of Arlington's "Hype Video" played at the 2018 State of the City event, and Arlington's American Dream City video series all won first-place awards at this year's ceremony.
