Pictures with Santa at The Parks Mall Arlington

Nov. 17 – Dec. 24, 2022

Santa Claus is in town at The Parks Mall at Arlington! Embark on an enchanted adventure to take pictures with Santa. Join him to create magical memories you and your family will always remember! You can book an appointment at The Parks Mall at Arlington’s website.

Texas Christkindl Market

Nov. 25 – Dec. 23, 2022

In its 12th year, the Texas Christkindl Market, presented by Reliable Commercial Construction, is a free, family friendly market in Arlington that features a unique shopping experience for holiday gifts, decorations, and unique one-of-a-kind finds. This year's event is scheduled from Nov. 25 through Dec. 23, 2022, at the North Plaza at Globe Life Field. Learn more about the Christkindl Market.

Miracle at Live!

Nov. 25 – Dec. 24, 2022

Arlington’s premier entertainment destination - will help visitors get into the holiday spirit with the addition of Miracle at Live!, a holiday pop-up bar. Featuring over-the-top décor and plenty of holiday-themed drinks, Miracle at Live! will be open daily from 5 p.m. until midnight. Learn more about Miracle at Live!

The Light Park

Now – Jan. 1, 2023

The most exciting and electrifying Light Show is South of the North Pole! Head out to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor for the most exciting drive through light show at The Light Park. Holiday in the Park

Now – Jan. 2, 2023

Holiday in the Park®, returns to Six Flags Over Texas. Bask in wondrous holiday enchantment for the entire family, featuring visits with Santa, the award-winning Christmas at The Southern Palace, the new Holiday Market with a petting zoo, s’mores around a campfire, and more. Holiday in the Park will take place weekends and select weekdays now through Jan. 2, 2023.

Festival of Trees

Dec. 2 – 23, 2022

The Junior League of Arlington (JLA) is excited to bring back a wonderful tradition to Arlington this holiday season with the third annual Festival of Trees. The event, held at JLA’s Center for Community service on Pioneer Parkway, features a dazzling display of more than 50 trees decorated by local businesses, service organizations, and individuals. The Festival of Trees will be open for viewing Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., as well as Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. For more information and to view the Festival of Trees virtually, visit www.jlarlington.org.

Holiday Storytime at The Parks Mall at Arlington

The Arlington Public Library will be at The Parks Mall in Arlington every Friday beginning Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 and ending Friday, Dec. 23, 2022 for Holiday-themed Storytelling. Join from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the lower-level Macy's seating area.

Hooray for the Holidays

Theatre Arlington presents Hooray for the Holidays starting Friday, Dec. 2, 2022. Theatre Arlington had so much fun, and its audiences loved it so much, that they are bringing back this hilarious Christmas musical that features a special guest at each performance – The Callahan Kids TV Christmas Reunion special. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; then 2:00 p.m. Sundays. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, showtime is 2:00 p.m. due to the Arlington Parade of Lights. Old Towne Christmas Craft Fair

Join the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center on Dec. 3 for the Annual Old Towne Christmas Craft Fair. Shop special handcrafted holiday goods from local vendors, beginning at 9 a.m. There will also be fun activities for kids including craft stations, photos with Santa, bounce house, and more. Downtown Arlington’s Letters to Santa

Save the date for Downtown Arlington Texas' Letters to Santa event on Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Downtown Post Office! The post master will dress up as Santa and librarians from the Arlington Public Library's George W. Hawkes Downtown Library will dress up as elves to help kids write letters to Santa. This is a part of the national Operation Santa campaign from USPS that pairs wish lists from underprivileged kids with families that can help provide gifts for the holidays.

Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

Are you ready to kick off the holiday festivities with one of Arlington’s biggest celebrations! The Holiday Lights Parade and Tree Lighting in Downtown Arlington Texas will be Saturday, Dec. 10. All the fun starts at 2 p.m., at the Arlington Public Library's George W. Hawkes Downtown Library with Reindeer Games and pictures with Santa. There will also be pre-parade entertainment at Founders Plaza before the Holiday Lights Parade kicks off at 6 p.m, followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 7 p.m. After the ceremony, enjoy live music and another opportunity to take pictures with Santa at Levitt Pavilion Arlington.

Guess who’s coming to town? Santa will be making a special appearance at The Beacon Recreation Center on Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Bring your camera and smile big for Santa. Register for a time slot to guarantee your spot! $5 per photo. Click here to register.

Lantern Festival

Join Arlington Parks and Recreation as we light up the night at Cliff Nelson Recreation Center for this festive holiday event. Upon check-in, participants will be provided with a paper lantern and supplies to decorate. Lanterns will have a send off, floating on Cliff Nelson's scenic pond. Enjoy holiday music, vendors, and a snowman building contest from 6-8 p.m. The event is free to attend or $10 per lantern. All ages welcome. Click here to register.

Senior Holiday Hotcakes (55+ yrs)

Celebrate the Christmas season by joining Arlington Parks and Recreation for holiday hotcakes at East Library and Recreation Center. There will also be bingo and prizes. Must be 55+ years of age and have an annual Senior Activity Pass to participate. This pass is $25 for Arlington or $35 for non-residents to enjoy a year's worth of senior activities. Interlochen Lights

Dec. 16 – 25, 2022

The Lights at Interlochen, one of the largest and longest running holiday traditions in North Texas, is back for the 2022 season. Each year, more than 200 homeowners in this northwest Arlington neighborhood celebrate the season by decorating their homes with festive lights and holiday-themed displays. Admission is free. The public is invited to drive through the neighborhood from 6 to 11 p.m. each night. Click here to learn more and download a printable map.

Cookies with the Clauses

Everyone is welcome to come decorate cookies, play festive games and make some holiday crafts with Mr. and Mrs. Claus at East Library and Recreation Center. Don't forget your camera for pictures with the Claus family. Families are welcome. Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. and the cost is $5 per child. Click here to register.
