The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation Board of Directors recently awarded $331,200 in grants to 11 nonprofits organizations working each day to make The American Dream City vibrant and strong through educational and recreational opportunities, arts and culture, and social service.

The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation, a Texas nonprofit corporation that is separate from the City, was established in May 2007. Over the past 12 years, the foundation has awarded more than 400 grants totaling nearly $23 million to local charities and City Departments. The latest round of grants, awarded June 6, will help support projects ranging from a new youth music camp at Grammy artist Kirk Franklin’s Downtown Arlington recording studio to a significant makeover for Arlington Memorial Hospital’s Hospice.
