Arlington Police honored volunteers at its annual Volunteer Awards Breakfast for their hard work and dedication. Police Chief Will Johnson spoke on the impact these volunteers make in our community and how valuable their donation of time is to the department.

Before the awards, officers and members of APD served breakfast to the volunteers as a way to say “thank you” for giving their time and services to the residents of Arlington.

In 2018, volunteers at the APD logged 33,181 hours of service in various capacities assisting the department, an increase of 4,000 hours over 2017.

The department awarded several volunteers with awards for the service in 2018:
