One of the world's hottest drink trends is taking off in Arlington.

In this month's Arlington Eats, host Andrew Tanielian visits Bethany Cafe, which serves a variety of Boba Teas.

The drinks feature Boba, a flavored bubble made from tapioca. The Boba sit at the bottom of the cup, then a tea mixture is poured on top. The trend originated in Taiwan and quickly started popping up on menus around the globe.

Bethany Cafe serves a variety of Boba tea flavors including Green Thai, Avocado and Strawberry Banana.

"The reason people like Boba is because it has the gummy bear-like texture," said Bethany Cafe employee Hailey Hing. "It's chewy and sweet.

The Cafe also serves a variety of Asian dishes including Beef Noodle Soup, Tofu Curry Rice and Lo Mein.

Bethany Cafe is located at 705 W. Park Row Drive. Click here to learn more and view the menu.
