Coronavirus Update

Editor's Note: This article was originally published Feb. 12, 2021 and updated March 31, 2021 to include new assistance options.

The Arlington Public Library is expanding access to resources for residents wanting to register for the COVID-19 vaccine. Residents can receive in-person, curbside, and telephone services at any library location. These will be provided at no additional cost and a library card will not be required to use these services.

In-person assistance offers access to the internet, computers, and printing services. Fees for computer usage and printing will be waived for vaccination registration purposes. Copying and faxing services are also available at a low cost. Please inform staff at your arrival that you will be registering for the COVID-19 vaccine, and they will help set you up on a computer and printer.

Curbside service will also be provided by library staff. Park outside your preferred library location and call 817-459-6900. Staff will come out to your vehicle and assist with registration.

For those wanting to register by phone, call 817-459-6900 and staff will walk through the application and register residents.

“Keeping in mind that not everyone has access to technology and perhaps no access to the internet, the Arlington Public Library is a resource for access and connectivity,” Library Director Norma Zuniga said. “Computers are available at all library locations and staff are ready to assist with the COVID vaccination registration process. We want to be part of the solution and are here to help.”

Effective March 29, 2021, all adults in Texas are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Note: Library staff members are not part of the vaccination system. If you have questions, please contact the Tarrant County Public Health COVID-19 Hotline at 817-248-6299 or visit its website.
