Virtual Town Hall Meeting on Future Active Adult Center Set for Oct. 28, 2020

Residents are invited to join a virtual town hall meeting scheduled at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 about the City of Arlington’s planned Active Adult Center and to provide input or ask questions about the future facility.

Residents are invited to join a virtual town hall meeting scheduled at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 about the City of Arlington’s planned Active Adult Center and to provide input or ask questions about the future facility.

Parks & Recreation Director Lemuel Randolph will provide an online presentation about the $45 million facility, which Arlington voters approved in a special bond election on May 6, 2017.

Members of the public can register to speak during the upcoming town hall meeting or can submit their questions in advance by sending an email to [email protected] at any time from now until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020.

Participants can also call 833-268-8354; Conference ID – 422-372-63# starting at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 28 to register to speak. City staff will then call members of the public who register to speak on during the appropriate time of the meeting. When registering by email, please include your name and address for the record, as well as a telephone number.

The town hall meeting can be viewed live on the City's website at www.arlingtontx.gov/city_hall/departments/broadcast or through your local cable provider municipal channel.
