3CMA Awards 2022

The City of Arlington’s Office of Communication was honored to receive four awards from the national organization, City-County Communications: Marketing Association, or 3CMA, for its video programming and social media community outreach efforts.

The Savvy Awards, held in conjunction with 3CMA's Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon, recognize outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships.

The Savvies salute skilled and effective city, county, agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing. 3CMA accommodates local government organizations of all sizes and budget classes by judging entries in several different population groups.

“The competition at this conference is fierce with quality work coming from all corners of the country,” said Jay Warren, director of Communication and Legislative Affairs. “It’s an honor to have four of our projects rise to the top for recognition. Particularly, I’m proud that our team’s innovative work with the LEGO Budget video and our Spanish-language Facebook page was honored. We are continually trying to break through with creative ways to reach our residents and these two projects are representative of that effort.”

Also at this year’s conference, Warren was elected to the 3CMA Board of Directors, serving the Class of 2025.
