Closures Planned on SH 360, Abram Street as Part of I-30/SH 360 Transformation

30/360 Work

TxDOT is alerting drivers of an upcoming closure on Abram Street under SH 360. Both directions of Abram Street will be closed under the highway from Oct. 31 to Nov. 10 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. 

Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Mitchell Street. Westbound traffic will be detoured to Division Street.

I-30 Mainlanes & Ramps

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Copeland Road

  • Through fall 2020: A temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp will be opened and accessible from Copeland Rd between Ballpark Way and SH 360.

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection

  • PERMANENT: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp available from the Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road intersection will be closed permanently. Traffic will continue to have access to the ramp to northbound Ballpark Way.

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from Northbound Ballpark Way

  • PERMANENT: The eastbound I-30 entrance ramp from northbound Ballpark Way will be closed permanently for the construction of a new northbound Ballpark Way connector to eastbound Copeland Road.

I-30 HOV Lanes (Between Great Southwest Parkway & Cooper Street)

Westbound I-30 HOV lane west of SH 161

  • Through 2021, The westbound HOV lane west of SH 161 will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will be directed into the I-30 westbound general main lanes west of SH 161.

Eastbound I-30 HOV lane between Center Street and Duncan Perry Road

  • Through 2021, The eastbound HOV lane access near Center St and lane through Tarrant County will be closed. TEXpress lane traffic will enter at SH 161.

SH 360 Mainlanes & Ramps

SH 360 Northbound Mainlanes 

Mitchell Street to Division Street

  • Overnight, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.- 6 a.m.: The SH 360 northbound mainlanes will be reduced to one lane between Mitchell Street and Division Street for bridge construction. EXPECT DELAYS

SH 360 Southbound Mainlanes

SH 360 Southbound Entrance from Brown Boulevard/Avenue K

  • PERMANENT: The SH 360 southbound entrance from Brown Boulevard/Avenue K is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Traffic is detoured along the SH 360 southbound frontage road to enter from the Six Flags Drive entrance ramp. A new entrance ramp will be constructed between Lamar Boulevard and Six Flags Drive.

SH 360 Southbound Exit to Lamar Boulevard

  • PERMANENT: The SH 360 southbound exit to Lamar Boulevard is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Traffic is detoured to exit to Brown Boulevard/Avenue K and follow the SH 360 southbound frontage road to Lamar Boulevard. A new exit ramp will be constructed to Avenue J/Lamar Boulevard/Six Flags Drive.

SH 360 Southbound Entrance from Lamar Boulevard

  • PERMANENT: The SH 360 southbound entrance from Lamar Boulevard is PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Traffic is detoured along the SH 360 southbound frontage road to enter from the Six Flags Drive entrance ramp. A new entrance ramp will be constructed between Lamar Boulevard and Six Flags Drive.

SH 360 Frontage Road

SH 360 Southbound Frontage Road 

Avenue K to Avenue J

  • Through fall 2019: The SH 360 southbound frontage road is reduced to one lane between Avenue K and Avenue J for construction of new frontage road.

At Abram Street

  • Overnight, Oct. 31-Nov. 10, 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.: Abram Street will be closed under SH 360 for bridge construction. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south to Mitchell Street to cross and return via the northbound frontage road. Westbound traffic will be detoured north to Division Street to cross and return via the southbound frontage road.
  • Overnight, Nov. 1, 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.: The SH 360 southbound frontage road approaching Abram Street will be reduced to one lane for bridge construction.

Arkansas Lane to Mayfield Road

  • Continuous, through Oct. 31: The left lane of the SH 360 southbound frontage road between Arkansas Lane and Mayfield Road will be closed for sound wall construction.

SH 360 South-to-North U-turn at Six Flags Drive

  • The SH 360 south-to-north U-turn at Six Flags Drive will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.

SH 360 Northbound Frontage Road

At Abram Street

  • Overnight, Oct. 31-Nov. 10, 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.: Abram Street will be closed under SH 360 for bridge construction. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south to Mitchell Street to cross and return via the northbound frontage road. Westbound traffic will be detoured north to Division Street to cross and return via the southbound frontage road.
  • Overnight, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.- 6 a.m.: The SH 360 northbound frontage road approaching Abram Street will be reduced to one lane for bridge construction. 

Glenn Drive to Avenue E

  • Continuous through Dec. 31, 2019: The SH 360 northbound frontage road between Glenn Drive and Avenue E will be reduced to one lane for underground utility work.

SH 360 North-to-South U-turn at Six Flags Drive

  • The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Six Flags Dr will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.

SH 360 North-to-South U-turn at Lamar Blvd

  • The SH 360 north-to-south U-turn at Lamar Blvd will be closed while the SH 360 mainlanes and northbound frontage road are under construction.

Local Streets

I-30 entrance from Ballpark Way.

  • PERMANENT: The northbound Ballpark Way ramp to eastbound I-30 will be closed for reconstruction to connect with Copeland Road through winter 2019. Northbound Ballpark Way traffic may exit to Copeland Road, turn right and enter on a temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp.

Avenue G

  • 800 block of Avenue G is limited to westbound traffic movement.

Avenue F

  • Eastbound and westbound Avenue F traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction and shifted to the south side of Avenue F for the reconstruction of Avenue F.

Copeland Road

  • Continuously, eastbound Copeland Road between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive is closed for new pavement and bridge construction.
  • Through winter 2019: Copeland Road access to Six Flags Drive is closed for reconstruction of bridges over Johnson Creek and new pavement to Six Flags Drive. Traffic is forced onto the new temporary eastbound I-30 entrance ramp between Johnson Creek and SH 360.
  • PERMANENT: Copeland Road between Six Flags Drive and the SH 360 southbound frontage road will be closed.
  • PERMANENT: Westbound Copeland Road from Six Flags to just east of Ballpark Way is permanently closed. Only eastbound Copeland Road traffic will be allowed between Ballpark Way and Six Flags Drive.

Convention Center Drive/Copeland Road Intersection 

  • PERMANENT: The I-30 eastbound entrance ramp available from this intersection was removed permanently from service. Access to northbound Ballpark Way is maintained.

105th Street 

  • PERMANENT: 105th Street between Six Flags Drive and Avenue E is permanently closed and will be removed.

Abram Street

  • Overnight, Oct. 31-Nov. 10, 7 p.m.- 6 a.m.: Abram Street will be closed under SH 360. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south to Mitchell Street to cross and return via the northbound frontage road. Westbound traffic will be detoured north to Division Street to cross and return via the southbound frontage road.

Avenue E

  • Continuously, Oct. 28-Nov. 30: Eastbound Ave E at the SH 360 northbound frontage road will be closed to traffic. Traffic will be detoured to turn right onto Glenn Drive and north onto 106th St to reach Avenue E. Businesses west of 106th Street will maintain access from westbound Avenue E.

Park Row Drive

  • Daily, Oct. 28-Nov. 26, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Various lanes will be closed on eastbound and westbound Park Row Drive under SH 360 for bridge work.

Mayfield Drive

  • Daily, Oct. 28-Nov 26, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Various lanes will be closed on eastbound and westbound Mayfield Road under SH 360 for bridge work.
