Come along for a mouthwatering ride and catch The American Dream City's cultural diversity and unique cuisine with Arlington Eats on MyArlingtonTV.

In this month's edition of Arlington Eats, host Andrew Tanielian visits Arlington residents Rudy Martinez and Justin Martinez, who recently snagged the "Most Creative" award for their culinary creation - the Cotton Candy Taco - which will be featured at the upcoming State Fair of Texas.

The father and son duo competed in the 14th annual Big Tex Choice Awards, a contest in which participants submit an original culinary masterpiece hoping for a spot in the State Fair of Texas concession stands. This year's State Fair of Texas, billed as the largest state fair in the country, kicks off this Friday, Sept. 28 in Dallas.

The Martinez duo are Big Tex Choice Awards veterans, taking home many awards over the years including 2018 Savory Finalist for their "Texas Fried Hill Country," a 2017 Savory Finalist for their "Tamale Donut," and a 2014 creation called "Fried Sweet Texas."
