Book Your Free Ride Now on Arlington’s Drive.Ai Self-Driving Shuttle for Oct. 19-20
Self-driving cars are here in Arlington, and you can be one of the first people to ride in one! Sign up now to experience the City of Arlington's new driverless shuttle service with Drive.ai next week.
Starting Friday, Oct. 19, Arlington will become the first Texas city to offer an on-street, self-driving shuttle service that is available to the general public. Through a convenient, on-demand ride-hailing system, shuttle passengers will be able to connect with employment centers, restaurants, entertainment venues, the Arlington Convention Center and public recreational spaces within the Entertainment District. The service is free of charge.
Rides are being booked online now for Oct. 19 and Oct. 20, the first two dates that the free shuttle service becomes available. Please click here to register.
Those who sign up will be able to take a ride in one of the three-passenger vehicles and learn more about this innovative, on-demand transportation service from Drive.ai team members. Rides, which will be scheduled between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on these dates, will start and end at the Arlington Convention Center.
Bring your friends and family! Even if you don't book a ride, stop by to explore one of the parked vehicles and learn more about how these smart vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to help them safely navigate city streets.
Riders who participate in a brief survey about their experience will receive free ice cream.
