Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Season Opens in Arlington Saturday

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, the largest waterpark in North Texas, is kicking off another action-packed season of Bigger, Better, Wetter thrills for the entire family. New for 2018, Splashwater Beach - offering 40 different state-of-the-art water play functions - joins Hurricane Harbor's already impressive lineup of thrilling rides, slides, and attractions.

Splashwater Beach is the perfect place for little explorers to enjoy fun in the sun and features:

  • A tropical theme with more than 20,000 square feet of interactive water play;
  • Six water action zones filled with a thrilling variety of geysers, sprays, water curtains, and water cannons; plus,
  • A colorful, relaxing area with additional lounge space for families.

Families can also enjoy the adventures of Hook's Lagoon or take a relaxing ride on the Lazy River. Experienced thrill seekers can take on Tsunami Surge, Typhoon Twister, and Wahoo Racer.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor opens Saturday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. with the traditional flag presentation and lifeguard rally taking place at 10:15 a.m. The park is open weekends only through May 20. Daily operation begins Memorial Day weekend.
