Arlington Parks and Recreation would like to spotlight Floyd Wine, a guest services assistant at both Tierra Verde Golf Club and Lake Arlington Golf Course.

Wine began volunteering with the City of Arlington in early 2008, after retiring from his 38-year career with Bell Helicopter. Very active in the community, Wine's volunteer service includes the Dallas Leukemia Foundation, Special Olympics Texas, Cowtown Marathon, March of Dimes, UTA Cadet Corps Alumni Council Executive Board and UTA ROTC Sam Houston Rifles Drill Team.

Wine has also been a professional musician for more than 50 years, a private pilot for 48 years, an avid golfer, and he enjoys being a DJ at various events. We would like to thank Wine for his many years of dedication and service in The American Dream City!
