Author Rachel Caine Leads Creative Writing Workshop for Teens

Bestselling author Rachel Caine will be visiting the Arlington Public Library on Thursday, March 22. Bring all your questions and join us at the Southeast Branch Library from 5 to 6 p.m. for this special session of our Creative Writing for Teens series, with guest speaker Rachel Caine.

Rachel Caine will be speaking about her experiences in the world of writing, as well as what teens need to expect when considering a career in writing. This program is intended for ages 13-18. No registration is required.

As a special bonus, Rachel will be giving away free copies of her books, while supplies last.

Rachel Caine has published more than 50 novels and over a hundred short stories, and she's not slowing down. She writes young adult fiction (series like Morganville Vampires, The Great Library, The Honors) as well as mystery/thriller (Stillhouse Lake, Killman Creek), urban fantasy (Weather Warden and Revivalist series), horror, romantic suspense, and much more.

Rachel started writing at 14, was professionally published by a major house at 29, and has had books translated into 28 languages. She's also written screenplays, and three of her books have been optioned for film or television. She's a New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Amazon Charts bestselling author, and has had multiple books hit #1 internationally as well.
